Carbonation and pressure safety

Always follow the current instructions for your exact carbonation machine, cylinder and approved bottle. A water-only machine must be used for plain water only; add juice, syrup, fruit and herbs afterwards in a separate serving glass. Only carbonate other liquids when the specific equipment is explicitly approved for them and all relevant instructions are followed.

Do not improvise pressure vessels, modify safety mechanisms, force pressurised fittings or use damaged or incompatible bottles. Follow fill limits, marked bottle replacement guidance, storage rules and pressure-release procedures. This website does not replace manufacturer instructions or authorise a use that those instructions prohibit.

Food handling and personal suitability

Use clean utensils, safe drinking water and food ingredients from reliable sources. Wash fresh produce, keep perishable mixtures refrigerated and follow applicable food-safety guidance. We do not provide validated shelf-life, commercial preservation or canning processes. Never assume that a fresh syrup or infusion is shelf-stable.

Check allergens and ingredient labels, and consider individual dietary needs. Herbs and fruit drinks are not medical treatments. Consult a qualified professional for personal health questions, including medication interactions or ingredient suitability. No nutritional or therapeutic benefit is guaranteed.

Alcohol-free preparation

Our recipes do not intentionally include alcohol and do not use fermentation to create carbonation. Purchased extracts, bitters, flavourings and other packaged ingredients may contain alcohol. Check their labels and any certification relevant to your needs. We cannot certify the alcohol content of ingredients you buy or a mixture prepared or stored outside our control.

Original written explanations, layout and other protected site materials may not be copied or republished as a collection without permission, except where applicable law allows it.
